    I've been sourcing my seafood from various sources including another CSF, a seafood delivery service, grocery delivery services, a couple of dedicated seafood/meat markets, and the usual grocery stores/markets. The one thing I haven't tried is getting it direct from the fishermen. Real Good Fish is the next link to direct from the fishermen. Pick up for me is at a local neighborhood market so I can also pick up other things for dinner at the same time. RGF also offers a good variety of seafood, meats, prepared seafood items, and sometimes even fun things like finger limes. I enjoy the recipes they send with the fish so I don't have to spend too much time looking up ideas. The quality of the fish is generally pretty good, but there have been a few times, especially recently, that my fresh fish comes partially frozen with a bit of liquid in the plastic bag and a stronger smell than I'd expect. I tried the whole fish option once, but it was not bled well. I also find that oftentimes, I'd have to do some additional descaling and deboning of the fish filets. Overall, the weeks that are good are really good and the weeks that aren't great is probably on par with a high end grocery store. I'm currently on the fence about RGF. The weeks that are good are better than most sources available and the best seafood experience you can get at home. The weeks with the issues I've listed above give me a bit of pause.

    The name says it all! Want fresh fish delivered to your door or like we did join a neighborhood delivery spot. Ours is at a local winery and they pair wines with the fish so it's a win-win. The fish is right off the boat fresh.. We know where and when it was caught. They even tell us the boats name and it's captain. When you get the email about what your fish will be that week you can go to their website where you can get all sorts of information on how to prep it - clean it - cook it. You get a variety depending on what's in season. Some things we've never had before and had to rely on the website. There are different size subscriptions depending on the size of your family. They also give you the option to add on items like delicious smoked fish. You can't beat the price for quality fresh fish. We wanted to get more fish in our diet, and this is a great way to do it. Give them a try!!

    Signing up for Real Good Fish was the best food decision I've made this year. The weekly process is seamless, the customer service is AMAZING (seriously these people are the best and make a real effort to help you in any way they can), and most importantly the fish is delicious! Even the non seafood add-ons have been so tasty. Everything about Real Good Fish is awesome!

    Got to try the delicious food this place cranks out at Calicraft awhile back. It was my first time being at Calicraft and just so happened to have this pop up here at the same time. When I read the menu and saw they had salmon sliders and I new I had to stay around to try one! The slider was delicious! Not too fishy but still had that great salmon amd herb flavor to it. It comes pretty simple too because the burger really speaks for itself. It is so delicately flavored that add anything would ruin the experiencr. You can tell from your first bite this is some fresh fish which really makes a difference in your food. I can't wait to find another pop up of theirs so I can try the tacos!
